CLARENCE — A 26-year-old Hamlin woman, accused of shoplifting from a local retailer, was found to also be hiding cocaine, according to New York State Police.

Officials say they were investigating the shoplifting complaint when they located the suspect, Shentelle Gagnon driving on Transit Road. Subsequent investigation also showed that she was driving with a suspended license and in possession of cocaine.

Gagnon was released on appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Clarence Court.
