WHEATFIELD — A Niagara Falls man was charged Wednesday afternoon with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle following a traffic stop on Niagara Falls Boulevard.

According to New York State Police, Roderick Banks was stopped after the vehicle he was operating was observed to have excess window tint, and found to have a small plastic bag containing cocaine. It was also discovered that his driving privileges in New York State were suspended.
Banks was taken into custody and transported to SP Niagara for processing and released on appearance tickets returnable in the Town of Wheatfield Court.
