BASON — A 20-year-old Medina woman was charged with driving while intoxicated after police say she crashed her car into the Two Eagle Smoke Shop earlier today.

According to New York State Police, Mariah L. Mosher had driven her vehicle completely inside the smoke shop, 852 Bloomingdale Road, having failed to stop at a stop sign and negotiate a curve, coming to rest inside the building, causing extensive property damage and minor injury to an employee.

Mosher was determined to be intoxicated and transported to United Memorial Medical Center as a precaution where blood was drawn. Mosher was released to the Troopers and transported to SP Batavia for processing.

Mosher was issued traffic tckets for DWI, failure to yield the right of way, failure to stop at a stop sign, possession of an open container and railure to use designated Lane. She is scheduled to appear in the Town for the Alabama Court on June 20.
