GERRY — A 26-year-old Jamestown woman was charged Sunday with driving while intoxicated after being found idling behind the wheel of her car in a parking long.

According to New York State Police, Elizabeth Brewer was discovered by Troopers unconscious behind the wheel of her idling vehicle in a parking lot after business hours. Investigation revealed that Brewer had driven to her current location in an intoxicated condition and she was placed under arrest.

Brewer was transported to SP Jamestown where she provided a breath sample of .09. Brewer was then processed, issued tickets returnable to the Town of Gerry Court and released. She is scheduled to appear in the Town of Gerry Court next month to answer the charge.
