JAMESTOWN — Three Jamestown residents and a resident of Puerto Rico were all charged with unlawful possession of marijuana following a traffic stop on Route 60.
According to New York State Police, a car driven by 19-year-old Karla Fontanez of Jamestown was stopped for speeding. While talking with the vehicle’s occupants, police smelled marijuana. Fontanez, along with Angel Nales Roman, 24, of Jamestown, Christian Leon Nazario, 25, of Jamestown, and Jose Torres Perez, 21, of Ceiba, Puerto Rico, were found to be in possession of several marijuana cigarettes, a pipe containing marijuana residue, and a bag containing a small amount of marijuana.
