TOWN OF NIAGARA — A 21-year-old Niagara Falls man was charged Thursday with driving while impaired by drugs and unlawful possession of marijuana following a traffic stop on the I-190.

According to New York State Police, Joshua Salvo was stopped at approximately 11:29 p.m. for erratic operation. Police found him to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana.

Salvo was taken into custody and transported to SP Niagara. After examination by a State Police Drug Recognition Expert, it was determined that his ability to drive was impaired by drugs.

He was processed and issued appearance tickets to appear in the Town of Niagara Court.
