ANGELICA — A 32-year-old Cheektowaga man was charged Sunday with felony driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop on Interstate 86.

According to New York State Police, Patrick T. Milligan was stopped for speeding and determined to be intoxicated. He was taken to the Amity Troopers’ barracks where he was found to have a .10 blood alcohol content.

Milligan had been convicted of driving while intoxicated within the previous 10 years, accounting for Sunday’s charge being a felony.

He was arraigned before the Town of Friendship Court, released and is to return before the Town of Angelica Court June 2.
