DUNKIRK — A 24-year-old Dunkirk woman is being held on $30,000 cash bail following a domestic incident at the Lakeside Trailer Park at 3711 State Route 5.
According to New York State Police, at approximately 6:30 a.m., Kristi M. Jones stabbed her husband in the chest area following an argument that had escalated in their home.
The Dunkirk Police Department and Fredonia Troopers responded to the scene and the male victim was taken to Brooks Memorial Hospital, where he was treated and listed in good condition. Animal Control was also on scene along with Child Protection Services.
Jones was charged with second-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. She was arraigned Dunkirk Town Court and sent to Chautauqua County jail in lieu of $30,000 cash bail/$60,000 property bond.
