FRANKLINVILLE — A 24-year-old Franklinville man was charged with petit larceny after turning himself in for stealing a cell phone.
According to New York State Police, Michael E. Collier stole a cell phone from a vehicle on Sunday, then sold the phone for $51. Monday, Collier went to the Olean Troopers station to turn himself in for stealing the phone.
He was processed and released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Franklinville Court on Monday.
