TOWN OF NIAGARA — A Town of Niagara man and woman were charged Thursday with possession of drugs and stolen property following a month-long investigation by the Niagara County Drug Task Force and Niagara County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Bureau.

According to Niagara County Sheriff Jim Voutour, Todd A. Biro, 49, and Marie T. Basile, 46, were found to be in possession of in excess of two ounces of cocaine and stolen property valued at approximately $8,300.

They were charged with third-degree criminal possession of stolen property, fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

The pair were held on $50,000 cash bail in the Niagara County Jail and slated to appear in Town of Niagara Court.
