Congratulations to Ken and Bob Wilczak of Fat Brat, winners of the 2015 All WNY Music Award for Best Guitar Duo. The tandem of Jamie Holka and Bruce Wojick came in second, while Mike Gantzer and Dave Loss of Aqueous placed third.

Continuing with the dual theme, 1980 Something won the Best Rhythm Section (Bass & Drums) category. Second place was awarded to Dan McPartlan and Mike Duchscherer, while third place goes to Todd Langworthy and Bob Bardo (DDT).

Heather Bellini won for Best Concert/Press Photographer. Bellini is joined in accolades by second-place finisher Daniel J. Ruggiero and third-place winner buffalo fm.

The WNY music community has chosen Buffalo Iron Works the area’s Best Venue. Backstage Pub came in second, while Lovin Cup placed third.
Lovin Cup took first place, however, in the Best Open Mic category. The Wagon Wheel placed second in the category, while Tudor Lounge rounded out the winners with a third-place finish.
Mike Duchscherer was declared the Best Instrumentalist. Lazlo Hollyfeld took second place in the category, while Jay Moynihan took third.
Best Keyboard/Synth Player goes to Ed Berowski. Paul Burt of Digital Afterlife placed second in the category, while Katie Ann rounded out the winners, taking third.
Guitar Factory was chosen by Western New York musicians as the Best Music Equipment Shop. The Lockport Music Center placed second in the category, while Allentown Music placed third.
Record Theatre is once again winner for Best Record Store. Vinyl Outlet took second place in the category, while Spiral Scratch placed third.
For the Music Productions was voted as the Best Promotion/Booking Company. After Dark Events took second place in the category, while Backstage Productions placed third.
The final awards — including awards for best male vocalist, best female vocalist, and best album will be announced on Friday.
