As April draws to a close, the 3rd Annual Cherry Blossom Festival in Delaware Park’s Japanese Gardens opens with a traditional Tea Ceremony on the Portico of the Buffalo History Museum.

The festival runs from April 30 through May 7, and this year marks the introduction of Live and Audio Tours of the Gardens, sponsored by Wegmans. Sites of events range from the Gardens and The Buffalo History Museum to the North Park Theater, Marcy Casino and Buffalo State College.

The Festival concludes with Music Day on May 7, with acoustic music to accompany garden strolls, local musicians invited to join in a “Cherry Jam Session”, while Pink Boat Rides grace Mirror Lake.

The Festival concludes with a Pink Parade.
