BUFFALO — A weekly carnival of food kicks off Tuesday at Larkin Square.

With music from Ten Cent Howl, 25 food trucks will set out to Larkin marketplace for the dining pleasures of Western New Yorkers. This marks the first time in the event’s four-year history that “Food Truck Tuesday” will begin in April.

Throughout the event’s six-month calendar, 40 different food trucks from as far away as Rochester will call Tuesday evening home. New this season, is a standalone permanent public restroom facility, built during this past offseason to accommodate large crowds.

Admission and parking remain free, thanks to support from sponsors First Niagara and Independent Health; and again this year, each truck will offer at least one item certified by Independent Health as a Healthy Choice.
