BUFFALO — As many as 80,000 people were on hand for the annual Saint Patrick’s Day Parade along Delaware Avenue Sunday afternoon.

Buffalo Police offered the crowd estimate and note that a handful of arrests for disorderly conduct and open alcohol container violations were recorded, but that the event was mostly unmarred.

The parade route ran up Delaware Avenue from Niagara Square to North Street with spectators lining both sides of the street several people deep along the route.
