CLARENCE — A 32-year-old Clarence man was charged Monday with DWI following a traffic stop on Transit Road.

According to the New York State Police, Michael A. Prego Jr. was stopped for an inoperable headlight when he was determined to be intoxicated with a blood alcohol content of .15 percent.

Prego was also charged with first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, driving without an interlock device and inadequate headlight.

He was released and ordered to appear in the Town of Clarence Court.
