JAMESTOWN — A 66-year-old Mississauga, Ontario woman was charged Friday with DWI following a traffic stop on Route 430.

According to New York State Police, Julie Benson was pulled over for a traffic violation and determined to be intoxicated.

She was transported to the State Police barracks where she was found to have a .14 percent blood-alcohol content.

She was issued tickets to Town of Ellicott Court and released to a “sober individual,” police say.
