BUFFALO — The Buffalo Sabres today announced they will be selling St. Patrick’s Day themed pucks prior to the team’s game against the New York Rangers on Saturday at First Niagara Center, with all proceeds going directly to the Buffalo Sabres Foundation.

The special pucks, which are signed by Sabres players, will be sold for $20 in the 100 level concourse prior to the 7 p.m. game.

Prior to the team’s Monday game against the Washington Capitals, the Sabres will wear green St. Patrick’s Day themed jerseys, which will be auctioned off on NHL.com from 9 p.m. on Wednesday to 9 p.m. on March 22.

The Buffalo Sabres Foundation is a New York State not for profit corporation that is committed to stimulating, supporting and encouraging organizations that serve Western New York which are committed to youth hockey initiatives; the health, wellness and education of underprivileged /disadvantaged youth and military personnel; and physically and mentally challenged athlete, by providing financial generosity and other platforms for their endeavors.
