Denise Frainier went home to be with the Lord unexpectedly at the age of 64.
Denise is lovingly remembered for her infectious laugh and her wild sense of humor. She had a deep and meaningful love for Jesus that grew immensely toward the end of her life. That growth led her to join Faith Fellowship Church and a women’s Bible study with ladies she quickly came to love and cherish. This journey culminated in her baptism – just months before her return home to Him. Denise had tremendous love for her husband, Barry, her daughter, Ally, and her sweet granddaughter, Pia. Affectionately known as “Nani,” she especially treasured her time with Pia – sleepovers, breakfasts in bed, and endless hours together in the pool. She was beyond excited to be welcoming a grandson in the months to come. Denise was known for her remarkable passion and talent for gardening, always tending to her beautiful gardens and eagerly showing them to anyone who visited her home. Anyone who knew Denise for more than a few minutes came to see how she constantly put the needs of others before her own, frequently showing her love through cooking and baking, especially during the Christmas season. She would deliver dozens of cookies of all different varieties to everyone she cared about, typically baking thousands (yes, thousands!) each year to share. She will be so deeply missed and remembered so tenderly by everyone who was privileged to know her.
Beloved wife of Barry Minor; loving mother of Alexandria (Brendan) Chiarilli; adored grandmother of Pia; dearest stepmother of Rachel Minor, Jessica (Richard) Barrett, and Noah Minor; cherished step-grandmother of Bryson and Levi; dear sister of Michelle Frost, Janine (Cheryl Chataignier) Frainier, Lisa (Anthony) Brienza, and Robin Pittman. She will also be deeply missed by many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
