James ‘Bud’ H. Burr III, 79, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on December 9, 2021 at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late James H. and Lillian (Kinsley) Burr, Jr.  He was also predeceased by his beloved wife, Judith ‘Judy’ (Toth) Burr in 2012.

Bud attended local schools and graduated from Trott Vocational High School.  He was employed as a Millwright throughout his life for various firms throughout Western New York, including Carborundum, Nuttall Gear, Goodyear, and Buffalo Brass, retiring in 2010.  After retirement, he worked as a Shuttle and Parts Driver for David Chevrolet in Niagara Falls, NY.  Bud was a member of the Elks Lodge in Niagara Falls.  Jim enjoyed tinkering and riding his Harley-Davidson Motorcycle.  He will be remembered as a great name dropper by all those that knew him.  Above all, he cherished the time spent with his children and grandchildren.

Jim is survived by his children, Daryl ‘Jim’ Burr and Nadeen Burr; his grandchildren, Nico Ciotoli and Alexis Ciotoli; his siblings, Ginger (late John) Hout, Linda Burr, and Rodney (Ellen) Burr; his brothers and sisters-in-law Ronald (Cheryl) Toth and Dennis (Robyn) Toth, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

There will be no prior visitation.  A memorial service will be held at a later date to be announced.  If desired, a memorial offering in Bud’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.   Arrangements by M.J.
