On August 17, 2020, SP Amity Troopers arrested Mary E. Cornell, 33, of Broomall, PA, for Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle 1st Degree, and Criminal Impersonation 2nd Degree.
During a traffic stop on State Route 19 in the town of Amity, Troopers determined Cornell had been operating a vehicle while in an impaired condition. She failed standardized field sobriety tests at the scene. During the course of their investigation Troopers determined Cornell also provided a false name to them.
Cornell was arrested and released with appearance tickets for Amity Town Court, where she is due to appear in September.
