On August 6, 2020, SP Olean Troopers arrested Micah E. Smith, 50, of Portville, NY for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle 1st Degree and Driving While Intoxicated.
During a traffic stop on State Route 417 in the town of Portville, Smith was exhibiting obvious signs of intoxication. Troopers determined he had been operating a motor vehicle while in an intoxicated condition. He refused to perform standardized field sobriety tests at the scene. Smith was then arrested and transported to SP Olean, where he refused to submit to a chemical breath test.
Smith was released with appearance tickets for Portville Town Court, where he is due to appear later this month.
