On July 24th, 2020, Troopers out of SP Jamestown arrested Christopher Weilacher, 31, of Jamestown, for Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 3rd Degree.

The Troopers pulled Weilacher over for a traffic violation observed on Route 430 in Jamestown and after failing several SFSTs, Weilacher was placed under arrest. Weilacher was then found to be in possession of a glass pipe containing methamphetamine residue and a check of Weilacher’s driver license revealed that his driving privileges had been suspended. Weilacher was transported to SP Jamestown where he was evaluated by a New York State Police Drug Recognition Expert and determined to be under the influence of a Central Nervous System stimulant. A blood sample was secured from Weilacher at UPMC Hospital in Jamestown and Weilacher was then transported back to SP Jamestown where he was processed. Weilacher was released with tickets and is scheduled to appear in the town of Ellicott Court next month.
