VERONA, N.Y. – The Purple Eagles men’s golf team wrapped up play at the Turning Stone Tiger Intercollegiate on Monday. The team finished in 14th place with a total score of 975 (+111).

Lincoln Cizek led the way for Niagara in the final round, firing a 77 (+5). He finished tied for 58th place with a three-round score of 236 (+20).

Tyler Edholm carded an 80 (+8) in the final round for a total score of 238 (+22). He finished the tournament tied for 61st place.

Zach Farkas tied for 68th place with a total score of 240 (+24). He shot 78 (+6) in the final round.

With a total score of 274 (+58), Mike Tomczak placed 88th. He shot an 89 (+17) in the final round.

Eric MacLean finished in 89th place with a total score of 254 (+38). He carded an 85 (+13) in the final round.

The Purple Eagles hit the links next on Tuesday, Sept. 10 competing against rivals Canisius and St. Bonaventure at the Little Three Championship. The tournament will be hosted by the Bonnies in Olean, N.Y.
