UNIVERSITY AT BUFFALO ATHLETICS

BUFFALO — The Mid-American Conference announced on Friday afternoon that the University at Buffalo men’s basketball game at Bowling Green will move to Friday, Feb. 1 and it will air live at 8pm on CBS Sports Network.

It will mark the fifth straight week for the Bulls that they will have a nationally-televised conference game as right now the Bulls and Bowling Green Falcons are the only two MAC East teams with a perfect record through the first two conference games.

The Bulls are currently ranked #19 in the nation and have a 14-1 record, while winning their first two league games by an average of 23.0 points in victories over Eastern Michigan and Toledo.

Bowling Green has been just as impressive as the Falcons have won six in a row entering the weekend and they have won their two games by an average of 20.5 points in victories at Kent State (84-64) and home against Ohio (82-63). BG is currently 10-5 on the year.

Buffalo’s next contest on CBS Sports Network will be tomorrow against Miami (OH) at Noon at Alumni Arena.  Currently there are just 150 tickets (actual seats) remaining for the event and then we will be selling standing room only tickets.  Fans are encouraged to arrive at Alumni Arena early as doors will open at 11am.
