This week’s featured show is Saturday’s The Sidney Fineberg Tribute and Rockin’ Fundraiser.
Come out and support Leslie Jean and her father Sidney Fineberg. Sidney has been going through some serious health issues, and the medical bills are mounting. Medicaid has stated they can only cover some of his past bills. But right now he owes so much, to so many different doctors and medical services (like Immediate Care) that he’s being denied certain services. Leslie is just hoping by January, Medicaid will be in involved and fully engaged. She’s hoping he will have good home health care help, day care at the senior center (so she can go back to work), AND better doctors than Immediate Care, and they are in the process of getting him in with a good geriatric primary, who has come highly recommended by Senior Planning Services, and Project Hope both who have been trying to guide them through things. But the local music community is all about supporting each other, and the great Bud Redding has lined up a killer selection of local acts who are donating their time to help raise money for this family in need. The Baby Machines, Monkey Wrench, Du Yu Remember (Husker Du Tribute), The Painkillers, and (the long-awaited return of) Cowboys Of Scotland will all be performing this Saturday, December 29th at Mohawk Place. Plus DJ Oldskool (Paul Hojnowski), Dancers, Art, Surprises, and FUN! Entry is only $5, while other donations will also be collected during the event. So, come out and support the cause for a great guy, the “Silver Fox”, Sidney Fineberg.
