The Niagara University men’s tennis opens its 2018-19 season with dual matches against Roberts Wesleyan on Wednesday and Daemen College on Thursday at the Niagara University Tennis Courts. The Purple Eagles will then participate in the Purdue Fall Invitational from Friday through Sunday.

  • Josh Wilson is the returning leader in singles with 12 wins, including going 4-2 in MAAC play, and ended the season on a three-match win streak.
  • Brent Bolelsav followed closely behind with nine wins.

Across The Net: Roberts Wesleyan College (0-1)

  • Roberts Wesleyan dropped its season opener to local rival the University of Rochester, 6-3, on September 28.
  • The Redhawks won in No. 3 doubles, No. 3 singles, and No. 6 singles


Across The Net: Daemen College

  • Daemen has competed in two competitions this fall. The Wildcats opened their season at the ITA East Regional from September 14-17 and had their first dual match against Merrimack on September 30.
  • Fabian Wilde won two matches at the ITA East Regional.
