PERRYSBURG — A 23-year-old Irving man was charged Tuesday with driving while intoxicated after New York State Troopers found his vehicle off the road.

According to NYSP, Troopers responded to Burning Spring Road for a vehicle that had struck a fence. Troopers interviewed the operator of the vehicle, Trevor John, and determined him to be intoxicated. He was transported to SP Collins where he was found to have a BAC of .21 percent.

He was issued tickets returnable to Town of Perrysburg Court on July 13.
