ASHLAND, Ohio — Brandon Sicurella of Depew is a member of the 2016-2017 Ashland University Track & Field team. The Eagles, who entered as No. 1-ranked men and No. 15-ranked women, took 19 individuals to NCAA indoor nationals.

Sicurella, majoring in sport management, is the son of Vincent and Susan Sicurella of Depew. The 2014 Lancaster Central High School graduate throws for the Eagles.

The Ashland University men’s and women’s track and field team competes in NCAA Division II in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC). The Eagles are led by head coach Jud Logan, now entering his 23rd season as a coach and his 12th season as head coach. The Eagles play their home games at Ferguson Field located next to the football stadium. The Eagles hope to return to the top of the GLIAC with a mixture of veterans and new faces in key positions.
