BUFFALO — Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown this evening condemned threats made Monday against two Jewish community centers in the Buffalo area.

Two Jewish Community Centers, on Delaware Avenue in Buffalo and North Forest Road in Amherst, were evacuated late Monday morning, following a bomb threat called in to the Amherst Center.

Amherst police say the centers were closed at approximately 11:30 a.m. and between 12:30 and 12:45 p.m. after being searched by a bomb-sniffing K9.
