BUFFALO — Buffalo State senior Evan Simone Frazier will participate in a live event connected to the PBS Arts “Hamilton’s America” on Saturday afternoon at the WNED-TV studio.

Frazier will join professional dancers, singers, actors, and Hamilton experts who will provide the mood and backdrop to the life of Alexander Hamilton as portrayed in the hit Broadway musical. The PBS documentary, which airs Oct. 21, is about the making of the musical. On Saturday, visitors can see a 30-minute preview on the WNED–TV big screen during the free event at 1:30 p.m.

A theater major from Long Island, New York, Frazier is playing the role of Eliza Hamilton in a meet-and-greet with guests. One of her theater professors recommended her for the role.

“I’ll be taking photos with people and starting conversations to make them feel like they’re in the musical,” Frazier said. “I’m really excited even though I won’t be singing on Saturday. This is my dream role on Broadway. Portraying Hamilton’s wife sounds like fun and is a great resume-builder.”

The preview event will take place in the WNED-TV studio, located at 140 Lower Terrace in Buffalo. Registration is recommended as space is limited. To reserve a seat, visit www.wned.org. For more information, call (716) 845-7000, ext. 308.
