TOWN OF NIAGARA — A 45-year-old Niagara Falls man was charged Wednesday with sexual abuse, accused of “sexual assaults of a child,” according to Niagara County Sheriff Jim Voutour.

Christopher P. Gordon was arrested following an investigation conducted by the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Bureau and Town of Niagara Police Department. His charges include first-degree sexual abuse, first-degree criminal sex act with a victim under 13, and two counts of first-degree criminal sex act by forcible compulsion.

Gordon was arraigned by Wheatfield Justice Erin DeLabio who set bail at $25,000 cash or $50,000 bond.
