Categories include:

- Best New Band/Artist
- Best Jam/Groove Band
- Best Metal Band
- Best Blues Band/Act
- Best Classic Rock Cover Band
- Best Guitarist
- Best Drummer/Percussionist
- Best Cover Vocalist (Any Genre)
In the 36 hours that the tiebreaker voting has been open, 571 votes have been cast across the nine categories. Voting will end on May 1. Winners of all categories will be announced after that.
