WALL TOWNSHIP, N.J. — For the second time in two nights, The Lockport Express scored one goal less than the Jersey Shore Wildcats, falling Saturday 6-5 at Jersey Shore Arena and ending the team’s playoff run for the 2015-2016 season. Mark Friol scored a pair for Lockport and Ryan Logar tallied two assists in the losing effort. 
Jersey Shore started the scoring at 12:51 of the first period with a Dylan Plsek power play goal, assisted by Jared Karas and Scott Hansen. John Rubin then made it 2-0 at 15:03, also assisted by Hansen and Karas. 
Friol pulled Lockport within a goal at 1:11 of the second period, assisted by Ryan Logar and Christopher Gasiewicz. Bogdan Khvatov put Jersey Shore back up by two just 17 seconds later. Christian Cooley and Zach Roth assisted. At 5:01, Kurt Villani made it 3-2, assisted by Andrew Logar and Jordan Pocobello. Less than 90 seconds later, the Wildcats pulled ahead again on a John Rubin goal, assisted by Karas and Plsek. At the 12:00 mark, Frank Vecchio Jr. made it 4-3, assisted by Dylan Jenkins and Justin Andriaccio. Friol’s second of the night at 12:55, tied the game at 4. Gibson Stuart and Ryan Logar assisted. 
A short-handed goal by Plsek put Jersey Shore back on top just 12 seconds into the third period. Karas and Ben Wingbermuehle assisted. At 11:41, Freddie Schaljo put Jersey Shore up 6-4. Christian Cooley and Marcus McCall assisted on what would be the game-winning goal. A last-minute effort by Lockport saw an Erick Santiago goal pull the Express within one. Stuart and Vecchio assisted. 
The Express will now return to Lockport to clean out their lockers, while Jersey Shore will move on to the second round of the NA3EHL playoffs.
